Create something cool instead of just consuming what others have created. Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, learned how to program when he was 14, and so can you! If you have done some Scratch or Mobile App programming, you can start JavaScript now.
Course Description:
JavaScript - The Language of the Web and the power tool of games and animations. This is a huge step up from Scratch Programming. You’ll begin by learning the basics, including strings, arrays, and loops, before moving on to more advanced concepts such as handling events with jQuery and adding graphics with canvas.
This one year course is designed for completion in 2 sessions (Fall 2016, and Winter/Spring 2017) corresponding to 2 school semesters. The session 1 syllabus is below:
