They will conduct a series of experiments to evaluate possible connections between the landscape and quantity of water in a watershed and how it relates to wildlife habitat, and human impacts.
Students will conduct experiments and learn in the following areas:
• Watershed and water PH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature in water
• Stream velocity and discharge – quantitative study and model building
• Wildlife and plant habitats
• Trees of Life
• Conducting an experiment using the Scientific Method.
• Use Google Public Data Explorer to help us understand the statistical information and how to most effectively show our findings
