Introduction to Public Speaking
Public speaking provides many benefits for youth. It teaches the basics of speaking and voice control. It fosters communication skills and reduces the fear of addressing large groups. It boosts their confidence. These critical skills can be developed by our simple, yet highly effective communication methods. We will teach them to present before an audience using specific speech techniques — including vocal variety, articulation, and voice projection. By attending this academic workshop, students will lay the foundation for skills that will benefit them for life. How We Teach We want our campers to learn by doing. While we teach special techniques, we also emphasize application. Kids will learn these techniques with practice and dedication. What We Teach
